Mujer beach is a little pearl, the beach is very small, golden sand, is often visited by locals, with a difficult access, at low tide large puddles form, you can swim and the locals have more experts areas since the rocks are thrown into the sea, something that we recommend for your safty.

Where is the la Mujer beach in Fuerteventura?

Mujer beach is located on the west coast of Fuerteventura, the best way to go is go to the first village of Tindaya on the road FV 10, on arrival, enter the village, passing the square there is a curve to the right and after a small hill in this area you must turn left and go through some small streets, it is easy to get confused, we finally found one paved road out of town and ends shortly after passing a junction of tracks of land, turn right and follow this track about 5 km to the sea, there is a left turn and continue straight for 1.5 km and in the middle of this line is the beach, there are no references there, just walk to the cliff which is visible.

This beach has no services, is located in an unpopulated area, quiet and pleasant. Being on the beach all you can see is your car parked on the cliff, the nearest town where to find services is Tindaya about 10 km you will find a small shop in town to buy what you need in case you want to spend the day at the beach.

Matas Blancas Beach

La Solapa Beach

Beautiful beach in Fuerteventura where you can find golden and black sand due to the accumulation of its various colors, a beach very visited by local inhabitants.

What is La Solapa beach like?

This beach, La Solapa, is a sandy beach dotted with areas of golden or black color sand, comfortable for swimming, but be careful with the currents, they are usually very strong, cold and crystalline waters that invite you to cool off. You can also find large holes in the rocky areas that provide some shade.

Where is the Solapa beach in Fuerteventura?

Here you have an incredible beach that you can find in the East of the island of Fuerteventura, in the Central-South area, the closest town is Pájara, leaving it heading South, follow the FV 605 road at 1.5 km you will find a detour to Ajuy,  continue along to the south, about 4 km you will find a dirt track that enters on the right, a good reference is some palm trees that you will see on the left a few meters before the said entrance, from here there is no loss, follow the track to the sea and end up on the beach, in total it will be approximately 5 km of dirt tracks with lots of laughs, a torment for the shock absorbers.

This is a completely isolated area, without any basic services, you can only find them in the closest town that is Pájara, about 11 km away, take everything you need if you want to spend the day on the beach, and be careful with the currents .

Los Molinos Beach

A beautiful and very small beach in Fuerteventura, you can only enjoy the beach at low tide, surrounded by a small group of houses in a coastal town.

What is the los Molinos beach like?

It is a very small beach with golden sand, surrounded by small houses that the local people have built, it is visited by surfers, the sea tends to hit this area hard, it is very dangerous for swimming.

Where is the beach of los Molinos in Fuerteventura?

Los Molinos beach is located on the west coast of the island of Fuerteventura, in the Central-North area, to reach it you must take the FV 207 road that passes through the town of Tefia, then you will find a detour that will take you to the FV 221 road, this road ends at the sea the town of Los Molinos.

Jarubio or Jarugo beach

The fantastic beach of Jarubio or Jarugo in Fuerteventura, each  person recognizes it by one name or another, a beach highly valued by the majoreros as it is quiet, wide and is far from populated areas.

How is the beach of Jarubio or Jarugo?

Jarubio beach is highly appreciated by local people, it is also often visited by surf schools due to its good conditions for apprentices, it is located at the mouth of a ravine, it is very wide and comfortable, it leads quite far towards land forming a small area of dunes covered by vegetation, its sand is golden, safe for swimming because it has a large strip of shallow depth, children can have a lot of fun playing with the waves, but remember that it is the North Sea and should  never trust its currents, on the side cliffs the water has formed small caves where you can find shade and some cool.

Where is the beach of Jarubio or Jarugo in Fuerteventura?

Jarubio beach is located on the west coast of Fuerteventura, the best way to get there is to go first to the town of Tindaya on the FV 10 road, when you arrive you enter the town, when passing the square there is a curve to the right and then a small hill, in this area you must turn left and enter some small streets, it is easy to get confused, at the end you will find a single paved street that leaves the town and soon ends up going to a dirt track junction, turn on the right and follow this track for about 5 km until you reach the sea, there is a curve on the left and go straight for about 3 km and you will find the beach on the right.

This beach does not have any type of services, it is located in an unpopulated area, a quiet and heavenly place, you will only find some garbage containers at the entrance and an area for parking, the closest town where you can find services is Tindaya 10 km, you can find a small store in the town to buy what you need in case you want to spend the day at the beach.

Here they have a small cove further south of the main beach, it is easy to get to when the tide is low and you can walk along the coast, you can also go up to a small plateau and go down from there.

Undoubtedly one of the most impressive of the island and maybe in Europe because of its size, its powerful sea and is unspoiled, has golden sand and is about 8 km long, its forbidden by cars, so your have to park in the arrival area and walk to see the views, sure to be an unforgettable memory, it is very dangerous for swimming because of its strong currents, very common in the North Sea, so if you decide to swim, never lose contact with the shoreline ,”There are no lifeguards. “Also note a monument to be found grazing in the slums and of course, the famous House of Winter which can be reached by dirt tracks.

Where is Barlovento beach in Fuerteventura?

It is a beach that not everyone dares to go, the access is not comfortable and you must travel a long distance on a dirt tracks, safe, but uncomfortable for tourism, we must first reach the village of Morro Jable, head towards the commercial dock, just before reaching the dock, go down a slope, you are on the right with a dirt track, this is the access to be taken, after traveling about 11 km your find a wide track on the right, for 1.5 km that rises to the top of the Moro Mountain 230mt of altitude, here you can enjoy an amazing panoramic view of the beach, we started the descent which stretches about 5 miles of sinuous curves up to a small shanty town with a small bar, after 1 km your come to the beach.

It is an un spoilt beach, without any services, only the shanty town there on arrival, you should bring supplies if you want to spend the day there its not easy to find help in a place like this, if your car gets buried in the sand, or just if you forget to bring water … enjoy this beach, and no littering please.

Cofete beach in Jandia

Welcome to Cofete beach in Fuerteventura, a spectacular and famous paradisiacal beach in the Canary Islands.

What is the Cofete beach like?

Undoubtedly one of the most impressive on the island and it may be that in Europe, due to its size, its powerful sea and its untouched state, it has golden sand and about 8 km long, it is forbidden to drive on it with cars, you must park in the packing area and go walking to see it, it will surely be an unforgettable walk, it is very dangerous for bathing due to its strong currents, very normal in the North Sea, so if you decide to swim, never lose contact with the shore  “there are no lifeguards. ” Also a highlight a grazing monument that you can find in the shacks and of course, the famous ‘Casa de los Winter’ (The Winter House) that can be reached by dirt tracks.

Where is Cofete beach in Fuerteventura?

Del Pozo or Chica Beach in Puerto del Rosario

Here you have the beach of the capital of the island of Fuerteventura, a small beach that is enjoyed by local residents of the city.

This beach is very small, as its name indicates, “Playa Chica”, it has very calm and safe waters, it is protected by the pier, it has golden sand and it has a protruding breakwater on the left hand side.

The beach of Puerto del Rosario or Playa Chica as it is usually called is located on the East coast, in the heart of the capital of the island of Fuerteventura, it is very easy to get to this beach, if you come from the south on the FV 2 road all you have to do is reach the first roundabout in the city, turn right towards the sea, when going down a hill, it appears in front of you a few meters on the right-hand side.

This beach is possibly the one with the most services on the whole island, a wide avenue with rest areas, benches and shadows, ramps and stairs to access the beach, plus wooden paths for the disabled, lifeguard tower, showers, public toilets, Recycling bins, umbrellas (free) and a few meters away there are restaurants, bar terraces, shops and even a large shopping center.

Caleta de Fuste Beach in El Castillo

Here you have the Castillo beach in Caleta de Fuste.

What is the Castillo beach like?

This beach is very calm, it is sheltered by the sports pier and it has calm and crystalline water, yellow sand with a very wide surface, when bathing be careful because the bottom of the water has stones that can make access a bit difficult, at high tide is when  bathing is the most comfortable.

Where is the Castillo beach in Fuerteventura?

This beach is located in Caleta de Fuste (El Castillo) on the west coast of Fuerteventura, in the central area of the island, to get there you only have to go to this town, go down to the sports pier and enjoy the views from the beach, it has different accesses distributed throughout the area.

This beach has a large number of services, comfortable accesses with wooden platforms for the disabled, showers, public toilets, a playground for the little ones, a sports area for volleyball, a small beach bar where you can have soft drinks or ice creams, a service for sunbeds and umbrellas (for a fee), a comfortable avenue that runs along the entire beach dotted with terraces and that will take you to the sports pier.
