Where is this golf event held in Fuerteventura?
As mentioned earlier, there are two 18-hole golf courses in the Caleta de Fuste area: the Salinas Golf Club and the Golf Club Fuerteventura. Both are located together in the southern part of this tourist town of Caleta de Fuste in Fuerteventura.
These exceptional courses enjoy year-round sunshine, so the golf season spans all 365 days of the year in this tourist area, with its golf courses operating at full capacity, an average temperature of 22ºC, and the pleasant trade winds that help maintain this average temperature.
Both courses offer beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean, situated about 500 meters from the shoreline and at the same altitude as the sea. Below, we provide details about each course, along with a small map showing their configuration.
- Golf Club Fuerteventura Course
18-hole golf course, par 72, 3 lakes, and 67 bunkers.
The men’s course is 6,069 meters long, and the women’s course is 5,257 meters.
- Golf Club Salinas de Antigua Course
18-hole golf course, par 70, 4 lakes, and 72 bunkers.
The men’s course is 5,409 meters long, and the women’s course is 4,562 meters.

The Caleta de Fuste Golf Open brings together more than a hundred golfers from across Spain and from various countries around the world.
Locally, we can highlight golfer Nerea Garrido, who finished first in her category at the Caleta de Fuste Golf Tournament. Her great achievements at such a young age are truly remarkable.
There are awards for the winners in different categories, such as the closest-to-the-pin, longest drive, and best senior golfer. These are just a few examples of the many prizes awarded at this golf tournament in Fuerteventura.
